Meet the Team
Circle of Soup came together through our shared belief that good health and good food should be fun and available to everyone.
We trialed our workshops throughout 2023 with the NHS, charities and privately, whilst developing our “train the trainer model” in partnership with West Hampstead Community Centre, Camden; SufraNW Food Charity, Brent; Violet Melchett NHS Health Centre, Kensington & Chelsea; and Cook for Good, Priory Green Estate, Islington.
These collaborations have helped us roll out our vision of democratising good health through food. We are a not for profit organisation and rely on grants, charity funding, and volunteers.

Sarah Walter & Jane Edwards
CO-FOUNDERS
Sarah Walter & Jane Edwards have been friends since meeting at art school in the 1980s. They’ve cooked and eaten a lot of food together over the intervening decades.
Sarah has a background in fashion & business, is a qualified coach and is our business lead. She is a qualified Functional Nutrition Counsellor which brought her to co-found Circle of Soup in 2023.
These days she likes to spend as much time as possible in her vegetable patch on a Welsh mountain.
Jane Edwards is an Integrative Psychotherapist (MA,UKCP reg.), a clinical supervisor and trainer. Her interest in the connection between food, mental health and environmentalism led her to train alongside Sarah in Functional Nutrition Counselling in 2022.
She is slightly obsessed with the alchemy that goes on in her compost heap in NW London, and can’t understand why everyone doesn’t get into the joy of compost.
